✏️ Base Editing & Docs (20)
📝 TLDR
Base editing is (finally) here! We also updated our Docs to make onboarding easier.
✏️ Base Editing
We’re excited to finally offer base editing! You can now change previously configured syncs instead of starting from scratch. Add or remove tables and fields to your previously configured base.
📘 Improved docs
Check it out at → docs.whalesync.com. Now includes tutorials and guides. We’ll be continuously updating this as the product evolves.
⚠️ Improved the usability of Issues
Key information pulled to the top of the details page (connector, times, impacted record). Added a contact link. More accurately named the second column.
🔄 Refresh tables/fields button
Added a button in the setup flow that lets you refresh tables/fields. Refresh will grab the latest tables/fields from Airtable and Webflow. Helpful if you’ve made changes to either app while in the middle of the setup flow
🐞 Bug Fixes
Issue details page 404s after issue is resolved
If you resolved an issue while you were on the details page, the page would show an error. Now that doesn’t happen.
➡️ What’s Next
Our high-level objective remains the same: improve self-serve! Over the next few cycles, we’re adding features that should make Whalesync easier to use on your own (if you choose). Look out for connection editing, Airtable view sync, and more.
